- EKGs, Monitoring Telemetry, and vital signs.
Emergency Department Technician:
Providence St. Mary’s Medical Center - Walla Walla, WA
- Ability to prioritize patient needs and workload as delegated by clinical staff.
- Initial patients contact with EMS or patient walk-in, assess for emanate life threats prior to registration.
- Document EMS HEAR reports and relay information to Physician/ER Nurse
- Physician to Physician consultations, Pt Transfers, and coordination with Life Flight and EMS.
- LAB draws, Covid testing, POCT UA/Glucose, Vision testing, Wound care, Splinting, and Orthotics.
- EKGs, Monitoring Telemetry, and vital signs.
Emergency Medical Technician – BLS
Mid-Columbia Pre-Hospital Care Association - Richland, WA
- 30+ hours continuous training annually
- Rapid response, determine imminent life threats, package pts appropriately.
- Provide incoming report to receiving hospital via HEAR.
- Document vitals, interventions, and pt contact using SOAP format.
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience EMS Provider (EMT-B) under Benton/Franklin County protocols.
- 3+ years’ experience Emergency Department (ER technician).
- American Heart Association CPR / First Aid Instructor.
- Active: Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT)
- Active: Washington State Emergency Medical Technician Certification (EMT-B).
- Active: Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist (MA-P).
- Active: Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC).
- Active: Washington State EMS Evaluator
- Valid BLS Provider CPR Card
